Harness Lead is built for real world walks with real dogs, not just training videos. It is an all in one leash and harness that gently reduces pulling and helps stop the classic “back up and slip out of the gear” escape move. When your dog leans into the leash, it tightens around the chest to encourage them to rebalance without choking or harsh corrections.

At Sturgeon County Kennels, we use Harness Lead every day with boarding dogs who are excited, new to us, and often strong on leash. It adjusts quickly, fits a wide range of body types, and gives us more control without making the walk feel like a battle. If it works in a busy kennel environment, it will feel very manageable on your daily walks.

The rope is made from soft, strong polyester double braid that sits comfortably across the chest and under the front legs. There are no sharp edges or stiff straps to dig in, which makes a big difference on longer walks or for sensitive skin. In your hands, it feels flexible and easy to grip instead of flat and slippery.

Fit is simple. One loop slides over the head, the rest wraps around the chest, and the black stops are adjusted to line up with your dog’s front legs. Once set, it stays put and moves with your dog, rather than sliding out of position.
